If you prefer to cozy up with your sweetheart or visit with family, catch the 84th Macy’s Thanksgiving Day Parade. The parade will air from 9am-noon (all time zones).
However, if you’re in the mood to try something different, go to Operation Turkey at Bikinis Sports Bar & Grill. Since its start in 2000, this organization has lent a helping hand to thousands of homeless people in Austin. They need volunteers to cook, sort donations and package food into to-go containers. Make a difference by registering at Get Involved Austin. Organizers ask that people show up around 9:00-9:30am.
If you’re a football fan, who would forget the Texas vs. Texas A&M game @ 7:00pm. Want to add a little twist to the festivities? Enjoy a Thanksgiving meal with all the fixin’s while enjoying the game at Alamo Drafthouse Ritz.
